The user wants me to reformat a job posting into clean, well-structured semantic HTML. I need to follow the rules: 1. Use

for section headings (e.g., About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule) 2. Use
  • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and

for prose 3. Do NOT repeat the job title as a heading (the page already shows it) 4. Do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a short

or drop it 5. Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail 6. Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions 7. Include a section ONLY when the posting has real, specific content for it — never emit a heading followed by filler/placeholder text 8. Never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them 9. Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones 10. Output ONLY the HTML fragment — no /, no markdown code fences Let me analyze the job posting content: - Schedule: "Monday - Friday, 9AM -5:30PM with Saturday and Sunday off" - this is a schedule section - Who We Are: Company description - this could be "About the Organization" or similar - Summary: Role overview - this could be "About the Role" - Required Qualifications: List of qualifications - Benefits: Detailed benefits package - Essential Job Functions: Core duties - Other Responsibilities: Additional duties - Preferred Qualifications: Preferred qualifications - Work Environment: Hybrid, location, travel, exposure to animals - Reports to: Senior Manager, Payroll and Benefits - Overtime: Salaried, not eligible for overtime I need to structure this into appropriate sections. Let me map: 1. Schedule - has specific content 2. About the Organization (from "Who We Are") 3. About the Role (from "Summary") 4. Qualifications (Required Qualifications) 5. Benefits (detailed benefits) 5. Responsibilities (Essential Job Functions + Other Responsibilities) 6. Preferred Qualifications 7. Work Environment 8. Reporting Structure (Reports to) 9. Overtime Status I should combine Essential Job Functions and Other Responsibilities into one Responsibilities section with sub-lists or just one list. The posting separates them, but they're all responsibilities. I'll keep them as separate sub-sections or combine with clear labeling. Also note: "Created under the College Cost Reduction and Access Act of 2007..." is part of benefits description. I need to ensure I don't include any boilerplate. The posting seems clean. Now, I'll write the HTML fragment. Let me start:

    About the Organization

ACC is one of the nation’s largest open-admission animal shelters, whose mission is to End Animal Homelessness in NYC. We touch the lives of nearly 20,000 animals each year. ACC is more than an animal shelter; we are a resource to the community, always seeking ways to keep the human-animal bond intact. With a 90% placement rate, our progressive, life-saving initiatives contribute to the successful placement of our animals. We strive to find loving homes for homeless and abandoned cats, dogs, guinea pigs and rabbits, both by adopting animals directly to the public and by partnering with more than 200 dedicated animal placement organizations (our New Hope partners). We also help keep NYC communities safe and rescue animals in need, responding to emergencies that involve animals as well as keeping our doors open 24/7 for people and animals in need.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Psychology, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
    • 5 years of experience in leave administration, absence management, employee accommodations, benefits administration, HR operations, and employee relations required.
    • Demonstrated ability to independently manage leave and accommodation cases from initial request through return to work.
    • Strong working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, PWFA, Pregnancy Discrimination Act/Title VII, USERRA, NY Paid Family Leave, NY Disability Benefits, Paid Prenatal Leave, Workers’ Compensation, NY Human Rights Law, NYC Human Rights Law, and NYC Protected Time Off.
    • Experience with continuous, intermittent, and reduced-schedule leaves.
    • Experience facilitating or supporting the ADA/PWFA interactive accommodation process.
    • Knowledge of applicable lactation and pumping protections, including the FLSA/PUMP Act.
    • Strong computer literacy and experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to explain complex policies and requirements clearly.
    • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive medical and employee information appropriately.

    Benefits

    • Generous paid-time-off (PTO) package including vacation time, birthdays off, personal days, and sick pay.
    • Open access Cigna medical, dental, and vision insurance at a low employee premium.
    • 401(k) and Pension plans.
    • Life Insurance.
    • On-the-job training for 2–4 weeks, periodic all-staff trainings (safety, DEI, cross-training, and other growth opportunities).
    • Eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program — as a nonprofit, employees may qualify for tax-free forgiveness of Federal Direct Loans after 120 qualifying monthly payments under a qualifying repayment plan.

    Responsibilities

    Essential Job Functions

    • Manage the full lifecycle of employee leaves from initial request through return to work, including continuous, intermittent, and reduced-schedule leaves.
    • Determine employee eligibility for applicable federal, state, and local leave programs and ensure required notices and documentation are completed timely.
    • Administer FMLA, Paid Family Leave, disability leave, Workers’ Compensation, parental leave, military leave, and other protected leaves to ACC staff.
    • Manage reasonable accommodation requests under the ADA, PWFA, and applicable New York State and New York City requirements, including facilitating the interactive process.

    Other Responsibilities

    • Coordinate leaves of absence with employees, managers, insurance carriers, and third-party leave administrators.
    • Review and track certifications, recertifications, restrictions, accommodation documentation, leave extensions, and return-to-work documentation.
    • Coordinate pregnancy-related leave and accommodations, including New York Paid Prenatal Leave, FMLA, PFL, disability benefits, parental leave, and other applicable protections.
    • Coordinate Workers’ Compensation-related absences and return-to-work processes, including transitional or modified work arrangements when appropriate.
    • Monitor changes to federal, state, and local leave and accommodation requirements and recommend updates to policies, procedures, forms, and employee communications.
    • Conduct periodic audits of leave and accommodation records to ensure regulatory compliance and identify opportunities for process improvement.
    • Maintain accurate and confidential records in ADP and other tracking systems.
    • Prepare reports regarding leave utilization, case status, trends, compliance, and return-to-work activity.
    • Recommend, maintain, and support the development, revision, and implementation of leave and accommodation policies, procedures, tracking tools, and employee resources.
    • Partner with Payroll and Benefits to ensure accurate benefit deductions, pay treatment, and benefit continuation during leave.
    • Support HR leadership with audits, reporting, special projects, and process-improvement initiatives.
    • Maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling medical and other sensitive employee information.
    • Complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience working with third-party leave administrators and insurance carriers.
    • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, CEBS, CLMS, or comparable certification.

    Work Environment

This role is hybrid but based at ACC’s NYC Headquarters (11 Park Place, lower Manhattan), with an expectation to be in the office 2 days per week or as needed. The position also requires willingness to travel to ACC’s five Animal Care Centers across the five boroughs. Because ACC houses hundreds of animals across its facilities, visits to Care Centers involve exposure to fur, odors, and other airborne particles. ACC offers many low-cost services to pets and people in need, including compassionate end-of-life services for those who cannot afford private veterinary care.

    Reporting Structure

Reports to: Senior Manager, Payroll and Benefits.

    Overtime Status

This is a salaried position and is not eligible for overtime.

    I used

for sub-sections under Responsibilities. The rules say use

for section headings. It doesn't forbid

for sub-sections, but to be safe, I could keep them as

    or just use

with bold? But the rule says "use

for section headings". It doesn't say not to use other heading levels. However, to keep it simple, maybe I should not use

and instead incorporate the sub-headings as part of the list or use

    Essential Job Functions

then list. But the rule says use
    • for lists and

      for prose. I think using

is acceptable as it's still semantic HTML. But the instruction says "use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." It doesn't mention sub-sections. I'll keep

for clarity, but if they want only

, I could make them separate

sections? That would create many thin sections. Better to keep as sub-headings. Alternatively, I could combine Essential and Other into one list with a note. But the posting separates them. I'll keep

as it's still valid HTML. Now, check for any missing content: The "Created under the College Cost Reduction..." is
