Position Overview

The Leave and Accommodation Administrator supports the administration of the Company’s workplace accommodation and leave programs, focusing on managing accommodation cases under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Manage accommodation requests from initiation through resolution
  • Facilitate the ADA interactive process with Members, managers, HR Business Partners and other stakeholders
  • Evaluate medical documentation and identify functional limitations
  • Analyze job functions to determine reasonable accommodations
  • Review, process, and track accommodation and leave requests in compliance with company policies and applicable federal and state laws, including FMLA, ADA, and workers’ compensation
  • Maintain and update leave records using company leave administration software, ensuring accurate tracking of leave balances, usage, and accruals
  • Cookordination return-to-work programs and fitness-for-duty processes
  • Communicate with Members, managers, and HR team members to ensure timely resolution of leave-related inquiries and issues
  • Aid in leave-related correspondence, including eligibility notifications, approval/denial letters, and return-to-work documents
  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with company policies, maintaining accurate and up-to-date leave files and records
  • Stay current on relevant employment laws, regulations, and best practices related to leave administration and assist in updating policies as necessary
  • Support the Leave Administration Manager in conducting training sessions for managers and Members on leave policies and procedures

Qualification Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Associate’s degree in human resources, business administration, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in facilitating the ADA interactive process and evaluating accommodation requests
  • Familiarity with federal and state leave laws, including FMLA, ADA PWFA, and workers’ compensation
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience using leave administration software
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

  • Proficiency in leave administration software and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Demonstrated ability in maintaining consistent, high-quality service levels
  • Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a Member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Member could be exposed to an environment containing unrestricted secondhand tobacco smoke.

SALARY

$65,000.00 per year - $75,000.00 per year
