Leasing Specialist - Manassas, VA

Management Services Corporation (MSC), one of The Caton Companies, is seeking a full-time Leasing Specialist for our 795-unit Westgate Apartments and Townhomes in Manassas. The perfect Leasing Specialist is a top-notch, super hard worker who loves to go above and beyond to make an impact at Westgate by helping future residents find just the right place to live.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist residents, prospective residents, and visitors promptly and courteously
• Answer all telephones promptly and provide courteous assistance to callers; schedule appointments for prospects
• Maintain office coverage
• Provide all residents, prospective residents, and visitors with accurate information that pertains to the community and the apartments
• Show and demonstrate apartments following proper show procedures
• Pre-qualify prospective residents
• Follow-up on all inquiries through telephone and written correspondence
• Process applications thoroughly and promptly according to the rental criteria
• Maintain considerate and timely contact with prospects and applicants
• Accept application fees, reservation deposits, and move-in rent, assuring all rental and record-keeping procedures are followed properly and carefully

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous marketing, sales, or customer service experience normally acquired by some work experience
• Leasing experience not required

Qualifications

• College Degree preferred but not required
• 2-3 years’ previous experience

Pay and Schedule

Salary depends on skills and experience. This is a full-time position; typical work hours and days are Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Every other Saturday from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. One day off during the week when working on Saturday.
