About the role

As a Leasing Specialist, you will sell and renew residential apartment leases, conduct tours, follow up with prospective residents, and prepare lease packages. You will have a strong drive to close sales, provide exceptional customer service, and build a true sense of community.

Responsibilities

  • Generate interest in the community by answering questions, conducting tours, following up with prospective residents, and executing sales closing techniques.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective residents.
  • Engage current residents through ongoing programs and events to increase satisfaction and minimize turnover.
  • Ensure the leasing office, models, vacant units, and common areas meet readiness standards.
  • Process rental applications for approval and prepare lease packages while protecting resident and customer information.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of the local market and assist in developing marketing plans that incorporate advertising, internet, outreach marketing, and referrals.

Requirements

  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced work environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of one year of sales or customer service experience is a plus.
