Leasing Specialist
About the role
The Landing Fayetteville is a unique housing community consisting of 270 units and 504 beds, designed with University of Arkansas students in mind. This is a full-time position working a standard schedule, Tuesday to Friday from 9:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday from 9:30am to 4:00pm. Nights or weekends may be required from time to time dependent on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate excellent customer service during each encounter with residents, prospects, vendors, officials, and community members.
- Participate and assist with the execution and development of marketing efforts on campus and in the community, customer appreciation events, and other special events.
- Answer incoming phone calls, drop-ins, and email inquiries professionally and handle them accordingly.
- Act as a lead salesperson when the Leasing Manager is offsite by conducting all tours, responding to leasing inquiries, and completing follow-ups with the prospective residents.
- Be an expert on current market conditions, trends, and local competitors.
- Monitor community, clubhouse, amenities, and other common areas for superior curb appeal, general cleanliness, and organization.
- Aid the Leasing Manager with posting updates and communication through social media.
Requirements
- Average of one or more years of progressive experience in student housing.
- Average of one or more years of progressive experience in sales, marketing, or related fields.
- Average of one or more years of progressive experience in property management.
- Average of one or more years of progressive experience in customer service.
- Average of one or more years of progressive experience in office administration.
- Average of one or more years of progressive experience in event planning.
- Average of one or more years of progressive experience in social media management.

Pay
The compensation range for this position is $14.50 - $18.08 per hour plus bonus potential. This range is determined by current market data based on the position requirements and complexities. Final offers of employment will be based on multiple factors including candidate education, skills, experience, and location.
