Leasing Specialist
About the role
The Leasing Specialist coordinates all requests from military families with the property management team. They assist in daily leasing functions, including showing units, qualifying applicants, executing leases, and managing resident files.
Responsibilities
- Captures and discharges service requests and distributes them to the appropriate maintenance personnel.
- Maintains resident and maintenance file jackets.
- Prepares and recommends marketing strategies.
- Reviews and negotiates lease terms.
- Executes leases and manages move-in/out processes.
- Shows properties and conducts market analysis.
- Advises on property improvements and marketing strategies.
- Handles inquiries and complaints.
- Coordinates social events and activities.
- Completes lease agreements and collects deposits.
- Places advertisements and maintains property listings.
- Ensures compliance with legal documents and government regulations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Property Management, or related field preferred
- Previous leasing experience required
- Experience with computers and office software (Email, Word, Excel, internet browsers)
- Previous sales experience preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to show properties in various weather conditions
- Good judgment and discretion in handling confidential information
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities with tight deadlines
- Professionalism, responsibility, and integrity required
- Discretion and ability to maintain a professional attitude and appearance

Pay
Hiring range: $23.60 - $28.21 per hour, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. Final salaries will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, licenses, certifications, and/or experience.
Schedule
The position requires driving for the company using either a company vehicle or a personal or rental vehicle to conduct company business more than 50% of the time.
