About the role
Axis Residential is seeking a relational and motivated Leasing Specialist for their 62 and older active adult, lease up community – Affinity at Broadmoor located in Pasco, WA.
Responsibilities
- Build a strong rapport with prospective and current residents through relationship selling and professional sales techniques.
- Collect and update prospect information in the sales management system.
- Conduct personalized tours based on prospective residents' needs and interests.
- Follow up with prospective residents through phone calls, personalized next steps, Sales Mail, notes, etc.
- Coordinate depositor-related creative follow-up and engagement.
- Host and participate in onsite community events for residents and prospects.
- Build meaningful strategic partnerships with businesses, service providers, and senior housing communities in the local area.
- Coordinate and participate in offsite sales and marketing events for potential residents and strategic partners.
- Use on-site property management software applications to track apartment availability, record traffic and leasing activities, manage resident and prospect data, and capture critical demographic and other information.
- Design and execute marketing activities and events to create and drive traffic to the property, including implementing prospect-facing events, resident and realtor referral programs, outreach programs, online and social media marketing tools, and following other property-specific marketing plans, drives, and special programs.
- Evaluate and shop competitors quarterly to understand the competitive landscape and our strategic position relative to the competition.
- Complete and maintain all documents required for resident and property files, including background/credit checks, liability insurance, etc.
- Report any irregularities or maintenance needs to the Community Director.
- Provide sales and marketing leadership and training to team members, as well as other staff members across the portfolio.
- Partners with the Regional Sales Manager on additional assignments and projects.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant sales and leasing experience; preferably in the senior living industry.
- Mastered all duties of a Leasing Consultant role.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office, property management software (i.e., Yardi, On-Site), and CRM solutions.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as necessary.

- High School Diploma required; advanced education preferred.
- Valid driver's license and insured, operable vehicle.
