About the role
Alexander Crossing is seeking a leasing consultant with tax credit experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will leverage their customer service skills to engage with potential residents and secure lease agreements.
Compensation
$20 per hour
Overview
RAM Partners, LLC offers a competitive compensation package including bonuses based on the property's commission structure. Additionally, employees receive 15 days of paid time off per year (prorated based on start date), 9 paid holidays and 1 floating holiday per year, medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k with employer match, company-paid life insurance, and company-paid short and long-term disability after 1 year of service.
Responsibilities
- Generate interest in the community’s unique features and benefits
- Communicate effectively with potential residents throughout the leasing process
- Serve as a resource for residents to address their concerns and find solutions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with residents
- Use attention to detail skills for office administrative tasks
- Coordinate fun activities for residents
- Process and maintain initial housing applications for Affordable Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC), Public Housing, and Site-Based Section 8/housing voucher programs
- Determine initial and ongoing eligibility for assisted housing programs
- Maintain and monitor necessary Enterprise Income Verification (EIV) reports as required by HUD
- Assist with annual and interim income certifications for the property management team
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Affordable Housing Tax Credit experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Able to multitask and meet deadlines
- Flexible schedule including weekends required
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
