Leasing (Sales) Representative
Job Description
Identify and attract exciting retailers, restaurants, and entertainment concepts that keep the portfolio fresh, relevant, and buzzing with energy.
Possess the ability to prospect, pitch, negotiate, and close lease agreements with local entrepreneurs and national brands.
Manage deals and pipeline from start to finish. Establish and develop professional relationships with leading national tenants.
Stay current on emerging trends to bring innovative concepts to the portfolio. Collaborate and work closely with inter-company departments such as marketing, operations, construction, finance, and legal to launch tenants successfully.
Contribute to daily Real Estate Committee meetings. Seek new or replacement tenants for the portfolio through national or regional contacts, and by visiting other markets and centers (approx. 2-3 nights per week).
Coincide with lease amendments and renewals for existing tenants to maximize revenue.
Ideal Qualifications
- Real estate, sales, or leasing experience is a plus (but drive and talent matter most)
- Candidate should be comfortable with basic financial analysis and Microsoft excel for deal negotiation purposes
- Experience dealmaking or relevant sales experience
- Confident communicator and persuasive negotiator
- Skilled at relationship-building and networking
- Organized, proactive, and resilient in a fast-moving environment
- Team player. This position involves frequent interactions across all departments and levels of the company
Salary
$60000 - $125000 per year
