About the role
Greystar is a leading real estate platform offering property management, investment management, development, and construction services in institutional-quality rental housing. This role is based in Elkridge, Maryland.
Responsibilities
- Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, show apartments, process applications, credit screen, and perform criminal background checks.
- Prepare lease and move-in packages, ensure smooth move-ins, and address any outstanding maintenance issues.
- Develop and implement marketing plans to sustain occupancy, including resident referrals, employer outreach, and internet marketing.
- Use on-site property management software to track apartment availability, record leasing activities, and maintain resident data.
- Inspect and prepare show units and amenities to meet company standards, and communicate maintenance needs to the maintenance team.
- Follow up with prospects and new residents to ensure satisfaction, send thank-you notes, and make phone calls or visits to finalize lease agreements.
- Execute lease renewal program by preparing letters and packages, meeting with renewing residents, and ensuring timely implementation of lease renewal documents.
- Respond promptly to resident and client inquiries, take action to resolve issues, and document requests for follow-up.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property.
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, climb, reach, carry up to 25 pounds, and crawl in confined areas.
- Work in all weather conditions, including rain, snow, heat, hail, wind, and sleet.
- Flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in sales and leasing preferred.
- Knowledge of property management software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills.
- Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.

Pay
The hourly range for the position is $18.00 - $19.00.
Schedule
Routine evening, weekend, and holiday work is required.
