About the role
Greystar is a leading real estate platform managing and operating over $300 billion of real estate in more than 250 markets globally. This position is located in Oneonta, New York.
Responsibilities
- Performs all sales and leasing activities to achieve the community’s revenue and occupancy goals.
- Inspects apartments prior to resident move-in and ensures they are in move-in ready condition.
- Stays informed about market and competitor conditions and develops marketing plans to sustain occupancy.
- Executes marketing activities to create and drive traffic to the community, including resident referral and employer outreach programs.
- Uses on-site property management software to track apartment availability, record leasing activities, and manage resident data.
- Ensures the community and show units meet show quality standards by inspecting the marketing corridor and leasing tour, communicating maintenance needs, merchandising, and preparing the leasing office.
- Follows up with prospects and new residents to ensure satisfaction and finalizes lease signings.
- Supports the lease renewal program by preparing renewal letters and packages, meeting with renewing residents, and ensuring timely implementation of lease renewal documents.
- Responds to resident and client inquiries and takes prompt action to solve problems.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.
- Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance.
- Rare or regular travel may be required.
- Flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in sales, customer service, or property management preferred.
- Knowledge of leasing processes and apartment inspections.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.

Pay
The hourly rate for this position is $17.00 - $19.00 per hour.
Schedule
This is a full-time position with a flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
