About the Role

The Leasing Professional manages the sales process from initial inquiry to lease signing, ensuring high-level customer service for prospective and current residents. This role emphasizes resident retention, community engagement, and effective use of technology to manage resident information and marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Present the community and apartment homes professionally, highlighting key features and amenities.
  • Respond to inquiries from prospective residents, schedule tours, and guide prospects through the leasing process.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the property’s features, floor plans, pricing, and availability.
  • Use property management software (e.g., Yardi or RealPage) to manage resident information, process applications, and track leases.
  • Conduct resident move-ins and move-outs, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
  • Plan and execute resident retention programs, including community events and activities.
  • Collaborate with the Community Manager on marketing efforts, including social media and online reputation management.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident interactions and transactions, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a leasing or sales role in the multifamily industry.
  • Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi or RealPage).
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license with no major infractions in the last 12 months.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented approach to resident concerns.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
