Responsibilities
- Opening and closing the community according to the provided checklist
- Walking the tour path and models daily
- Answering leasing leads, following up, and responding to resident contacts
- Touring and leasing apartments to prospective residents
- Maintaining outstanding resident rapport through community events, newsletters, and fostering a sense of community
- Conducting thorough and accurate market surveys
- Assisting residents with service requests and handling conflicts
- Assisting with weekly leasing reports and providing market survey information on competitors
- Assisting in the renewal process to retain existing residents
- Performing outreach marketing calls and visits
- Managing social media accounts and posting according to brand guidelines
- Walking vacant units, grounds, amenities, and buildings as required
- Completing leasing paperwork for move-ins and sending professional communications as needed
- Participating in local chamber, apartment association, or other activities representing NorthPoint
- Embedding yourself into the community for networking opportunities and vendor partnerships
- Contributing time to various charitable activities to “Live Generously”
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or related experience and/or training
- Valid Driver’s License
- Willingness to work weekends and a varied schedule
- Sales and/or customer service experience is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, Windows operating system, and Google applications
- Aptitude to read a resident ledger and understand payments and credits
- Entrata/Yardi experience is a plus, along with familiarity with Blue Moon lease software
- Ability to work in a team environment and assist teammates as necessary
- Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Excellent attitude, teamwork skills, and self-motivation
- Ability to approach problems both logically and creatively
- Confidence and knowledge when interacting with team members and outside parties
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team and independently
- Sensitivity to confidential information and matters
- Ability to carry/transport items weighing up to 25 pounds
- Continuous walking and standing
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time
- Ability to move, bend, squat, stoop, twist, climb stairs, and turn to perform daily responsibilities
Compensation is based on geographic location and individual pay decisions will vary based on demonstrated job-related skills, knowledge, experience, education, and certifications.
