About the role

Tisher Liner FC Law specializes in all aspects of leasing, representing both landlords and tenants in commercial and retail leases. Our highly skilled lawyers prepare retail and non-retail leases, provide advice on leasing disputes, and manage complex litigation processes at various levels. We have successfully represented clients at the Small Business Commissioner and the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT). Responsibilities

• Preparing and advising on leases (commercial, retail, industrial, and licensed premises)
• Drafting shopping centre leases and disclosure statements
• Preparing agreements for lease
• Handling assignments and transfers of lease
• Drafting subleases and licence agreements
• Providing advice on leasing disputes
• Representing clients in Small Business Commissioner mediations and VCAT matters under the Retail Leases Act
• Managing liquor and gaming licensing matters
• Preparing cases opposing applications before Liquor Licensing Victoria
• Dealing with objections to licences
