Leasing Consultant - West Lake Quarter (The Original, The Mezz & The Gateway)
Responsibilities
- Develop full knowledge of application information required, screening processes and policies regarding rentals.
- Play an active role in the renewal process.
- Develop and maintain an on-going resident retention program under direction of Property Manager.
- Courteously, efficiently handle resident requests and complaints.
- Ensure proper maintenance of resident and property files.
- Efficiently and timely process all required administrative forms, reports and related information.
- Ensure “model” apartments and target apartments are ready for show; maintain work areas and office in a clean and orderly manner; have an awareness of the “curb appeal” of the property.
- Thoroughly know lease terms, specifications and all community policies.
- Be knowledgeable of required telephone and sales techniques.
- Be knowledgeable of current market conditions.
- “Shop” competitive properties and complete market updates.
- Maintain a leasing closing ratio that meets Bader’s requirements.
- Fully understand current rental rates, sizes, locations and all amenities of property.
- Participate in the marketing of the property as directed.
- Operate within OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies at all times.
- Comply with all industry Fair Housing rules.
- Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
- Seek educational opportunities and self-improvement for personal growth and development.
- Assist with other responsibilities as directed by the Property Manager.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Associate's degree preferred. Minimum of 2 years of property management experience. Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with residents, staff, and vendors. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
Skills
Knowledge of lease terms, specifications and community policies. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks. Familiarity with OSHA standards and Fair Housing rules. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay
$20-$22 per hour
Schedule
Full-time, with occasional evenings to accommodate tours, follow-up calls, or resident events.
