Schedule

  • Full-Time
  • Tuesday–Friday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
  • Saturday: 11:00 AM–5:00 PM

Pay

$20–21 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Develop full knowledge of application information required, screening processes, and policies regarding rentals.
  • Play an active role in the renewal process.
  • Develop and maintain an on-going resident retention program under the direction of the Property Manager.
  • Handle resident requests and complaints courteously and efficiently.
  • Maintain proper resident and property files.
  • Process all required administrative forms, reports, and related information efficiently and timely.
  • Ensure “model” apartments and target apartments are ready for show; maintain work areas and office in a clean and orderly manner; be aware of the “curb appeal” of the property.
  • Thorough knowledge of lease terms, specifications, and all community policies.
  • Knowledgeable of required telephone and sales techniques.
  • Stay informed of current market conditions.
  • “Shop” competitive properties and complete market updates.
  • Maintain a leasing closing ratio that meets Bader’s requirements.
  • Fully informed of current rental rates, sizes, locations, and all amenities of the property.
  • Participate in the marketing of the property as directed.
  • Operate within OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies at all times.
  • Comply with all industry Fair Housing rules.
  • Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
  • Seek educational opportunities and self-improvement for personal growth and development.
  • Perform any other duties the Property Manager assigns that fall into the Leasing Consultant’s job description.
