Job Details Description We are looking for a Leasing Consultant for our Trails at Cahaba River location. This community has 400 units and is located in Birmingham, AL. As the Leasing Consultant, you are responsible for leasing, assisting with the marketing of the apartment community, and maintaining positive relations. Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to) Greet prospects and assists them with their questions and paperworkTour the property and target apartments/modelUpdate apartment availability reports as neededProcess paperwork including: leases, renewals and other related documentsListen to all resident requests, complaints, and commentsCollaborate in planning and hosting resident functionsParticipate in obtaining and/or distributing marketing information Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM and Saturdays as needed Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent, some college-level education preferred1+ years in a sales oriented role. 6+ months of on-site leasing experience or a combination of customer service and sales experience and education preferredPossesses superior sales abilityComputer proficiency, including MS Office: Word, Excel, and OutlookYARDI experience preferredKnowledge of Fair Housing regulations Physical Demands: The job is periodically sedentary, but requires mobility (i.e. climbing stairs or squatting) to tour and inspect apartments/communities. Involves sitting, walking, or standing for prolonged periods of time and stooping for brief periods of time. There is some repetitive motion of the hands and wrists associated with using a computer.
