Leasing Consultant - Reserve at Hamburg

About the role

Leasing is a volume game with a relationship core. At a 318-unit community like the Reserve at Hamburg, you're expected to convert traffic into signed leases by listening to prospective residents and matching them to the right unit.

Most of your time splits between guest interactions and the administrative work that surrounds them. You'll greet prospects in person and over the phone, schedule and lead tours, and handle the full leasing paperwork trail: guest cards, applications, lease prep, and move-in documentation. Yardi Voyager and Rent Café are the preferred platforms, so comfort with property management software matters.

Beyond the leasing desk, you'll do regular walk-throughs of units and common areas to confirm they're market-ready—picking up trash, tidying units before showings, and flagging maintenance needs. You're the first point of contact for resident service requests, logging and routing them quickly.

Rotating Saturdays (9am to 4pm) and occasional after-hours resident events are part of the role. The commission structure ties to both new leases and renewals, so your earning potential reflects how well you convert traffic and retain residents. Understanding local market conditions to position Hamburg against competitors helps strong consultants earn consistently.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects in person and over the phone, schedule and lead tours
• Handle leasing paperwork: guest cards, applications, lease prep, and move-in documentation
• Conduct regular walk-throughs of units and common areas to ensure market readiness
• Tidy units before showings and flag maintenance needs
• Log and route resident service requests to the appropriate team
• Track pipeline and follow up with prospects within 24 hours to maintain high close rates

Requirements

• Prior customer service experience (required); leasing or sales background strongly preferred
• Comfort with property management software, specifically Yardi Voyager, Rent Café, and CRM tools
• Solid written and verbal communication, with the ability to build rapport quickly
• Working knowledge of fair housing requirements and lease documentation standards
• High school diploma or equivalent

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm, plus rotating Saturdays (9am to 4pm). Occasional after-hours resident events.
