Responsibilities
- Meet with prospective renters and take them on tours of the units and the property.
- Follow up with prospective new residents.
- Process rental applications.
- Lease to and move in qualified residents.
- Maintain all resident files, ensuring completeness and accuracy of all paperwork and documentation.
- Submit resident and property work orders.
- Celebrate resident move-outs in accordance with state law and company standards.
- Maintain all account records and transactions including NSF's, rent allowances, concessions, rent increases and other management-approved debits and credits.
- Maintain a calendar of scheduled move-ins, ensuring all move-in appointments are completed and all apartments inspected and compliant with established standards prior to move-in.
- Update unit availability daily.
- Aid in marketing functions including creating flyers, market surveys and shopping competitive properties.
- Aid in planning property resident functions. Attend functions and participate as host for any functions as directed by property manager.
- Provide clerical and phone support.
- Contribute to cleanliness and curb appeal of the units and property on a continuing basis.
- Demonstrate ability to resolve resident complaints and direct pertinent issues and matters to the community manager.
- Stay on the cutting edge of market conditions, trends and product knowledge in the community and competitive communities.
- Ability to work some nights, every other Saturday and occasional holidays if needed.
- Other tasks or duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and currently automobile insurance required; position requires own vehicle to fulfill all job’s functions.
- This position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- One year’s experience in residential property management or related field is preferred.
- Experience in the service industry is preferred.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $20 - $25 per hour.
Schedule
The work schedule will be Tu-Fr from 9:00 am -6:00 pm and every Saturday from 10:00 am -4:00 pm. A weekday would be given off when a Saturday is worked. This position requires the availability to work some nights, weekends, and occasional holidays.
