Leasing Consultant | MAA Southwind

About the role

As a Leasing Consultant at MAA, you will support the leasing operations and financial performance of an assigned apartment community. You will interact with prospective residents, communicate the value and overall experience of living at a MAA community, and secure lease agreements. You'll be a moment maker, relentlessly customer-focused, helping transform properties into communities and apartments into homes.

Responsibilities

• Interact with prospective residents and communicate the value of living at a MAA community
• Secure lease agreements
• Initiate the process to screen prospective residents
• Communicate lease expirations and facilitate lease renewals
• Assist with property marketing activities and resident events

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in sales, hospitality, customer service, and/or leasing
• High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of apartment management laws and regulations at the federal, state, and local levels preferred
