About the role

As a Leasing Consultant at MAA, you will support the leasing operations and financial performance of an assigned apartment community. You’ll interact with prospective residents, communicate the value and overall experience of living at a MAA community, and secure lease agreements. You’ll also initiate the screening process for prospective residents, communicate lease expirations, facilitate lease renewals, assist with property marketing activities, and help organize resident events.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • At least one year of experience in sales, hospitality, customer service, and/or leasing.
  • Knowledge of apartment management laws and regulations at the federal, state, and local levels preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • High school diploma/GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
