Administrative tasks include maintaining accurate rental files, entering data into the property management system, and supporting monthly close-out processes. You’ll also interact with current residents regarding maintenance concerns, complaints, and rent collection, requiring strong people skills to navigate both welcoming newcomers and resolving issues with existing tenants.

Responsibilities

• Meet and qualify prospective residents, guiding them through the leasing process.
• Prepare and walk through lease agreements, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
• Coordinate with maintenance to facilitate smooth move-ins and address resident concerns.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate rental files and property records.
• Enter data into the property management system and assist with monthly close-out tasks.
• Interact with current residents to address maintenance requests, complaints, and rent collection.
• Support occupancy goals through proactive follow-up and resident retention efforts.

Requirements

• At least one year of property management experience (preferred but not required).
• Genuine sales instincts paired with patience for customer service.
• Comfort with data entry, file management, and attention to detail.
• Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Team-oriented mindset—collaboration is essential in this role.
• Ability to handle the emotional aspects of the job, including managing resident frustrations and occupancy pressures.

Pay

Compensation ranges from $20 to $22 per hour, depending on experience, with additional monthly bonuses and company profit-sharing.
