Leasing Consultant (Essex & Merrick)
About the role
Prometheus calls this role a Neighbor Ambassador, and the title reflects something real about how the company approaches leasing. At the Essex and Merrick communities in Portland, you're the first face a prospective resident sees and, often, the person they call when something feels off after move-in. Learn this well and you'll understand how a property actually runs, not just how to close a lease. You'll exit this role knowing how to read traffic trends, understand concessions in context, and recognize what occupancy pressure looks like before it becomes a problem—skills that carry across any asset class or market.

Pay
The combination of per‑lease incentives, semi‑annual bonuses, and weekend shift premiums can cause take‑home pay to exceed the base rate meaningfully when you are producing; lease‑up bonuses may also apply.

Weekends are non‑negotiable; prospects tour primarily on Saturdays and Sundays, so your days off will fall during the week. If your personal life is structured around weekends, consider this before applying.
