Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for prospective residents, visitors, and current tenants.
- Answer phones, respond to email and online inquiries, and schedule appointments.
- Conduct property tours and provide information on available apartment homes and community amenities.
- Follow up with prospective residents and assist them through the application process.
- Process applications, lease documentation, and resident paperwork accurately and timely.
- Maintain resident and prospect files in accordance with company standards.
- Address resident concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
- Receive and document service requests and follow up on resident satisfaction.
- Track leasing activity, prospect traffic, and community outreach efforts.
- Assist with resident events, marketing initiatives, and community engagement activities.
- Support general office operations, including filing, data entry, scanning, and other administrative duties.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and company policies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, administrative support, sales, or leasing.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional, polished, and customer-focused demeanor.
- Able to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Able to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
- Basic computer proficiency, including email and data entry.
- Experience operating standard office equipment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Availability to work Saturdays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Apartment leasing experience.
- Property management experience.
- Familiarity with Yardi or other property management software.
- Strong sales and relationship-building skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and move throughout the community as needed.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 10 pounds.
- Ability to work outdoors during property tours and community activities.
