Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet and assist prospective and current residents in a professional and friendly manner
- Conduct property tours and effectively present community features and benefits
- Respond to leasing inquiries via phone, email, and in person
- Process rental applications in compliance with Tax Credit (LIHTC) guidelines
- Maintain accurate leasing files and documentation
- Aid in income certifications and recertifications (Tax Credit experience preferred)
- Manage office responsibilities including answering phones, filing, data entry, and general administrative support
- Cook up with property management staff to ensure resident satisfaction
- Support marketing and outreach efforts to maintain strong occupancy
- Deliver excellent customer service consistent with Habitat America's standards
Qualifications
- 2+ years of property management experience in a leasing consultant or similar role desired, but not required.
- Experience with Tax Credit (LIHTC) housing strongly preferred
- Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to close leases
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional demeanor and energetic personality
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Proficiency with standard office software and property management systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Pay
Salary commensurate with experience.
