Leasing Consultant

Fogelman is seeking a professional Leasing Consultant to join the team at Courtney Bend Apartments located outside Savannah in Hardeeville. The ideal candidate brings at least two years of sales or leasing experience, strong social media and marketing skills, exceptional customer service and communication abilities, a passion for planning and executing resident events, and a collaborative, team‑oriented mindset. Experience with Yardi, CRM platforms, and Yieldstar is a plus. A valid driver’s license is required.

About the Role

The Leasing Consultant provides tours, completes the leasing process with prospective residents, executes marketing strategies for the community and maintains positive resident relations.

Responsibilities

• Interview prospective residents and record information to ascertain needs and qualifications.
• Accompany prospects to model/vacant apartments and discuss size, layout, amenities, and lease terms.
• Ensure consistent follow‑up with prospects.
• Process applications for approval in compliance with policies and procedures.
• Process lease renewals as needed.
• Schedule move‑ins and complete all lease paperwork with prospects.
• Walk all move‑ins prior to the move‑in date to ensure readiness.
• Follow up with new residents after move‑in.
• Inspect condition of premises periodically and arrange necessary maintenance.
• Plan and coordinate resident events.
• Handle resident requests and complaints courteously and efficiently.
• Assist with marketing duties, including preparation of market surveys.
• Assist with sending out resident notices.
• Work weekends as required.
• Adhere to all company policies, including safety and Fair Housing.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• One year experience as a leasing professional preferred; up to one year of related experience or training acceptable.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be acceptable.
• Experience with virtual and in‑person community tours preferred.
• Working knowledge of property management platforms (e.g., Yardi, Entrata, Yieldstar, CRM) preferred.
• Marketing skills to execute a property marketing plan through outside marketing, social media, and resident functions.
• Familiarity with the local market preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, relationship‑building, and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license; automobile insurance may be required.

Pay

Competitive biweekly salary with additional $125 leasing commissions, split monthly renewal commissions, and various bonuses and allowances as detailed in the Benefits section.

Schedule

Standard schedule with the possibility of weekend work as required.
