Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day property operations to ensure customer satisfaction, fiscal stability, and good physical condition.
- Support leasing efforts to maintain high occupancy, including mailing renewal offers, logging responses, and managing property availability.
- Ensure an accurate record of availability that aligns with the lease renewal report.
- Approve, enter, and present rental applications to the General Manager for execution.
- Manage property licenses and renewals in coordination with legal counsel and the City.
- Assist with the check-out process, including final account statements, key returns, and vacated unit inspections.
- Ensure leases and resident check-ins are accurate and efficient.
- Investigate and respond to resident concerns/complaints promptly to foster good public relations.
- Prepare weekly reports on property performance as required.
- Assist in developing and implementing advertising/marketing and resident retention programs.
- Maintain courteous communication with residents, applicants, employees, and vendors.
- Answer telephones and handle general administrative duties such as filing and typing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
- Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating office equipment (fax, copier, telephone, PC, typewriter, calculator, key machine, key card system, vacuum).
- Strong computer skills, math ability, and accurate typing/record-keeping.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; knowledge of Entrata is a plus.
- Accuracy in numerical analysis, data transfer, and document preparation (grammatical and legal correctness).
- Knowledge of and adherence to all federal, state, and local laws.
- Ability to follow through with paperwork and meet deadlines.
- Positive, professional, and enthusiastic attitude at all times.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills for a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to apply logical thinking to practical situations and follow standardized procedures with occasional minor deviations.
- Capacity to think rationally beyond specific instructions.
