Leasing Consultant - 83 West Townhomes

AMP Residential is seeking a full-time Leasing Consultant to join our team at 83 West Townhomes, a 504-unit community in West Bloomfield, MI. We prioritize integrity, professionalism, and hands-on management, aiming to set the gold standard in property management. Responsibilities

• Show and lease units to prospective residents
• Handle resident questions, concerns, and complaints courteously
• Complete and maintain all resident and property files
• Conduct outreach marketing regularly
• Execute Fair Housing Practices consistently
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude
• Assist with resident retention efforts
• Walk the marketing path daily
• Process lease applications and qualify residents
• Support the Property Manager with general office tasks, including answering phones and administrative duties
• Play a key role in resolving resident concerns and issues
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1-3 years of sales experience, preferably in property management
• Prior leasing experience preferred but not required
• Valid Driver’s License with valid insurance
• Strong sales and customer service experience
• Team and goal-oriented mindset
• Positive attitude in a fast-paced environment; comfortable resolving conflict
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with social media platforms and business best practices
• Entrata experience preferred (willing to train)
• Must pass drug screening and criminal background check
