Leasing and Placements Assistant

About the Role

The Leasing and Placements Assistant shows and leases apartments to prospective tenants and completes move-in and move-out processes with residents.

• Able to discuss size and layout of rooms, available facilities (such as swimming pool and saunas), services, and terms of lease.
• Completes lease form or agreement and collects rental deposit.
• Compiles listings of available rental apartments.
• Complies with approved referral and placement protocols.
• Assists with continuity of communications between HHR and Na MAC.
• Requires driving for the Company using either a Company vehicle or a Personal/Rental vehicle to conduct Company business more than 50% of the time.

Requirements

• High School or technical school required.
• One year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret general business policies, manuals, safety procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports and general business correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from residents, prospective tenants, and the general public.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Knowledge of Email, Internet/Intranet, Word Processing software, Spreadsheet software, and Database software.
• Valid and in-state Driver’s License required.

Pay

The hiring rate for this position is $18.08 per hour, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This position is also eligible for a performance bonus. Final salaries will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, licenses, certifications, and experience.
