Leasing Agent-Part Time

About the role

Barge Properties, a Temple-based company, offers a unique opportunity to join a management company with extensive experience and capabilities. The goal is to collaborate with clients to enhance property value and profitability through a mix of owner-operated and third-party managed properties, including self-storage, residential, and commercial subdivision development.

Responsibilities

• Respond to leads, answer prospect calls, and conduct property tours.
• Maintain excellent customer service relationships with clients and handle inquiries professionally.
• Collect deposits, fees, and rent from new move-ins.
• Process lease paperwork.
• Sweep units, hallways, and assist in cleaning the property.
• Make collection calls to clients.

Requirements

• Excellent phone etiquette, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Office, Email, and Web Research.
• Ability to work Saturdays and occasionally fill in during the week when the Property Manager is off.

Pay

The pay for this position is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

This position requires full-time, on-site presence at our Longview, TX property. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of application. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of a U.S. Employment visa (e.g. H-1B) for this position.
