About the role
This safety-sensitive position is responsible for the leasing and marketing function of the property. It involves supporting the Community Manager in achieving occupancy and rental goals, managing resident relations, and ensuring property upkeep.
Responsibilities
- Support the Community Manager by achieving occupancy and rental goals.
- Maintain a closing percentage of at least 30%.
- Reach prospective residents through advertising and respond to phone inquiries and property tours.
- Affirmatively market the property by assisting in accurate preparation and administration of all leasing activities and rental traffic reports.
- Aid the Resident Management in completing market studies.
- Assist the Community Manager with overall operations, promoting positive resident relations, handling resident complaints, and overseeing rent collections.
- Supervise, motivate, and direct the staff to promote teamwork and achieve a common goal.
- Ensure the property is in a neat, clean, and well-maintained condition through daily exterior and interior inspections.
- Ensure the property meets and exceeds company standards for resident satisfaction and availability on a 24-hour emergency basis.
- Plan and participate in community activities and other projects as assigned.
- Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or GED required. Higher education preferred.
- Experience: 2-3 years of customer service or related experience.
- Physical & Cognitive: Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds.
- If job includes or may include driving for company business:
- Driver must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record with company insurance carrier.
- Driver must have reliable means of transportation.
- Driver must have the ability to be insurable at standard rates for driving.
- Driver must provide proof of personal auto liability insurance when using vehicles for company business.
To be hired, candidates will be required to successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen.
