Responsibilities

• Execute and update property marketing materials
• Provide leasing tours
• Develop and implement renewal strategies to achieve resident retention goals
• Demonstrate strong customer service skills by treating residents and others with respect
• Answer resident questions and respond sensitively to complaints about maintenance services
• Act in accordance with company procedures and ensure compliance with Fair Housing requirements
• Work independently as well as cooperatively with the Property Manager and team
• Work closely with the property manager to gain knowledge of management responsibilities

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years working in leasing or real estate
• Personable leasing specialist with strong closing ratio
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse individuals
• Capable of managing entire leasing process from initial inquiry to move-in
• Familiar with resident retention and renewing leases
• Ensure all service requests are followed through until completion
• Develop and maintain long-lasting relationships with current residents
• Knowledge of property management software operating systems
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in real estate or property management are advantageous
