Leasing Agent

About the role

The Campus team is dedicated to providing superb housing for college students. As a Leasing Agent, you will be part of a passionate and enthusiastic team focused on growth, diversity, stability, and job training.

Responsibilities

• Aid in leasing efforts to achieve full lease-up and maintain high occupancy levels
• Maintain accurate records of property availability and manage the renewal process
• Review and approve rental applications, and present them to the General Manager for execution
• Manage property licenses and liaise with legal counsel and the City
• Handle the check-out process, ensuring compliance with final account statements and inspections of vacated units
• Investigate and respond to resident concerns in a timely manner, fostering good public relations
• Prepare weekly reports on property performance as required
• Develop and implement advertising/marketing and resident retention programs
• Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, typing, answering phones, and using various office equipment
• Operate and maintain computer systems and adhere to company policies and procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
• Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
• Ability to operate various office equipment and software
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Positive, professional, and enthusiastic attitude

Qualifications

• Ability to follow through with paperwork and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws
• Accurate typing, record keeping, and document preparation
• Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook proficiency
• Entrata knowledge is preferred
