Role Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agent for multifamily properties to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing leasing activities, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining positive relationships with prospective and current residents. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of property management processes and a passion for helping others find their perfect home. Key Responsibilities Assist prospective tenants in the leasing process by providing property information and conducting tours of available units.Manage applications, including data entry and processing, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements and company policies.Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions and lease agreements in the Customer Relationship Management System (CRM).Utilize Entrata software for tracking leases, managing tenant accounts, and generating reports.Respond to inquiries via phone and email with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.Collaborate with the maintenance team using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to ensure timely resolution of tenant issues.Stay informed about local housing regulations.Support administrative tasks as needed, including filing, organizing documents, and assisting with marketing efforts. Required Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of property leasing experience required.Strong legal administrative skills to navigate leasing agreements and compliance requirements.Proficient in data entry with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records.Excellent phone etiquette for effective communication with clients and vendors.Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to enhance tenant relations.Familiarity with Yardi software is preferred for property management tasks.Ability to effectively upsell services while maintaining a customer-focused approach.Knowledge of LIHTC regulations is a plus for compliance in affordable housing initiatives.Strong administrative skills to support daily operations within the leasing office.A background in law or legal processes related to property management is advantageous.
