About the role
As a Leasing Consultant, you’re the friendly face and trusted guide for every potential resident, walking them through the exciting journey of finding their perfect home. From the first "Hello!" to the day they pick up their keys, you’ll greet, tour, answer questions, and make move-in day a breeze.
Responsibilities
- Apartment Matchmaker – Greet and assist future residents in finding the right apartment home, making their experience seamless, fun, and stress-free.
- Tour Guide with a Twist – Show off move-in-ready apartments with enthusiasm and charm.
- Resident Cheerleader – Build trust and rapport with current residents to create a welcoming community.
- Leasing Rockstar – Work closely with your team to hit leasing goals while keeping customer service top-notch.
- Renewal Expert – Help current residents renew their leases.
Requirements
- Outgoing, positive, and full of personality—you make everyone feel welcome.
- A natural at building relationships and earning trust.
- Customer service-savvy with an eye for sales.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; undergraduate degree preferred.
- Previous property management experience with a proven track record in leasing or sales.
- Natural disposition for sales and understanding of sales techniques and processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write and speak clearly and free of errors.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management with a proven ability to meet goals and deadlines.
- Ability to function well in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Treats all current and future residents with the highest level of concern and care; demonstrates integrity, honesty, and ethics.
- Able and willing to maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
- Treats everyone with respect and dignity, accepts responsibility, takes ownership of tasks, follows through on commitments, and maintains confidentiality.
Physical Requirements
- Must work on the heaviest traffic days of the week, including Fridays and Saturdays weekly (and Sundays on an as-needed basis) and holidays during peak business hours, including at least one closing shift weekly.
- General office environment; ability to lift or move items weighing up to 10 pounds.
- Able to move about the property to perform assigned tasks, including sitting or standing for extended periods, walking, and climbing stairs in various weather conditions and climates.
Pay
Competitive base pay plus commissions—earn anywhere from $25 to $100 per lease, paid monthly.
