Essential Roles & Responsibilities
- Analyze various documents including leases, contracts and title documentation to summarize company ownership and obligations
- Set up leases and other agreements in Quorum Land System according to department processes and guidelines, using system applications and reports to ensure accuracy, consistency and data integrity
- Calculate, summarize and accurately report company ownership and obligations for assigned area, with coaching from Senior Analysts or Manager
- Manage payment, expiration and obligations calendars, ensuring timely and accurate payment of rentals, extension options, shut-in payments and minimum royalties
- Manage lease records maintenance in Quorum Land System
- Subdivide leases per company processes
- Associate wells and other land agreements and work with Senior Analyst to work more complex wells to title
- Able to recognize less common provisions and ask for clarification when needed
- Understand and assist Senior Analyst in monthly 10K acreage reporting process
- Coach and mentor Level 1 Analysts and support staff
- Prepare correspondence when needed, including letters, emails and memos
- Perform special projects as assigned to support Land Administration Department and company goals
- Support Sr Level Analyst in an area by performing lease maintenance, such as linking documents, updating lease extensions, adding recording data, recognizing and tying agreements that relate to one another
- Run QQM reports to ensure accuracy, consistency and data integrity

Details
Typical Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Petroleum Management or Business
Typical Experience: Minimum of 2 years related experience
