Lease Operator

About the role

This position is located in the Delaware Basin and reports directly to the Foreman for the area. The Lease Operator works alongside all personnel in their field.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot production equipment, including pumping units and ESPs
• Efficiently manage assigned routes
• Perform daily route checks to monitor and record production data
• Ensure well performance and troubleshoot production issues
• Conduct basic maintenance on equipment as needed
• Respond promptly to call-outs within assigned coverage area
• Operate and maintain pumping units and ESPs
• Accurately document production data and required reports using production software

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Lease Operating experience (required due to minimal supervision)
• Strong understanding of pumping units and ESPs
• Ability to run and maintain assigned routes independently
• Comfortable with computer documentation
• Must be able to drive up to 300 miles per day
• Pass background check, driving record check, and DOT drug screening
