Viewed as a Lease Operator in training or entry level Lease Operator. Works under general supervision of a supervisor or Lease Operator Lead. This position monitors, maintains, and reports the operation of wells and sites on an assigned route. Most problems require consultation with supervisor to resolve.
Responsibilities
- Make routine checks on all well sites according to schedule.
- Monitor production equipment including but not limited to compressors, pumpjacks, plunger lift, dehydrators, meters, separators, and safety devices; perform light maintenance on equipment as necessary to ensure all equipment is well maintained and operating safely.
