About the Role

As a Lease Administration Manager, you will manage the team responsible for the delivery of contracted lease administration services. This role is part of the Lease Administration team and involves portfolio administration, daily operations, and managing relationships with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide formal supervision to employees, including monitoring training and development, conducting performance evaluations, and coaching.
  • Oversee recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of new employees.
  • Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities, including establishing work schedules, assigning tasks, and cross-training staff.
  • Set and track staff and department deadlines, and mentor/coach as needed.
  • Manage the process of producing timely and accurate client reports and services.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for most aspects of the client relationship.
  • Implement process improvement initiatives and communicate best practices.
  • Set up audit and implementation SWAT teams and serve as a member; prepare detailed client correspondence regarding audit findings.
  • Review leased and owned portfolios to identify risk, audit accuracy, and value.
  • Communicate with clients on account status and review the quality of work produced by the lease administration team.
  • Participate in the preparation of RFPs for existing and potential clients.
  • Meet with clients to review services, propose additional services, and obtain updates.
  • Lead by example, modeling behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.
  • Influence parties of shared interests to reach agreements.
  • Apply knowledge of your discipline and how it integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues in existing systems and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
  • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.
  • Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.

Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
  • Advanced math skills, including the ability to calculate percentages, fractions, and other financial-related figures.
