Learning Leader (Cosmetology Instructor)

About the role

A Clinic Floor Learning Leader runs and maintains all clinic floor sales, operations, and communication with the Service Desk Leader, Sales Leader, and Clinic Floor Learning Leaders. This is a sales-focused position requiring a strong knowledge of all Paul Mitchell hair care products, Pro ToolsTM, and skin and nail products.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clinic floor sales, operations, and communication
• Lead students and Clinic Floor Learning Leaders in the sales systems
• Ensure no services guests are turned away and provide full service experience
• Set, meet, and exceed Take Home and service dollar goals

Requirements

• Successful previous sales experience
• Experience with Paul Mitchell products
• Self-motivated to set, meet, and exceed goals
• Ability to inspire, inspect, and coach team members
• Positive and effective communication skills
• Customer service resolution skills
• Teamwork skills
• Beauty product sales experience

Qualifications

• Current cosmetology, barbering, esthetic, or nail instructor license
• Excellent organization, coaching, and communication skills
• Supervision, teamwork, documentation, and return on investment skills
• Solid work history with verifiable references
• Passion for the beauty industry
• Honesty and professionalism
• Preferred knowledge in Paul Mitchell Schools' cultural and technical systems

Skills/Competencies

• Experience instructing at a cosmetology school
• Knowledge in Paul Mitchell Schools' cultural and technical systems
