About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for applying the ADDIE instructional design model to analyze content, design learning solutions, and create various types of e-learning and virtual instructor-led courses.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes content to identify learning needs and objectives.
- Designs learning solutions that meet organizational goals and user needs.
- Creates e-learning courses from source content and storyboards using Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise).
- Develops virtual instructor-led courses from source content and procedure documents.
- Produces job aids as required.
- Uses provided templates and follows established guidelines and procedures.
- Adheres to established timelines and reports progress and escalates issues as necessary.
- Communicates effectively with team members using collaboration tools.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of Learning Design Professional experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of instructional design or related training/learning experience.
- Experience with standard instructional design tools such as Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise), Microsoft Word, PPT, and Camtasia.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Learning and Performance, Education, Human Resources, Organizational Design, or a related field.
- Prior experience working in a consumer-centric company.
- Work experience in a health care and/or insurance setting.
