About the Role

Join our team as a vital member of our childcare staff, responsible for supporting multiple classrooms across the center.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional classroom support across all age groups, guaranteeing seamless daily operations and maintaining optimal ratio compliance.
• Establish and maintain a pristine, sanitary, and organized learning environment in accordance with stringent health, safety, and licensing standards.
• Execute crucial facility upkeep tasks, including sanitizing dishes, utensils, and classroom materials in a hygienic manner.
• Regularly clean and disinfect surfaces, toys, and common areas to prevent the spread of germs.
• Effectively manage waste, including timely removal of trash and maintaining a spotless cleanliness of disposal areas.
• Collaborate with teachers to prepare and serve meals and snacks, adhering to nutritional guidelines and food safety protocols.
• Assist teachers with classroom transitions, activities, and behavioral guidance, promoting a supportive learning environment.
• Provide continuous supervision and engagement of children, fostering a safe and stimulating atmosphere that encourages developmental growth.
• Collaborate with team members to uphold center standards, policies, and daily operational flow.

Requirements

• CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain).
• Must pass background check.
• Previous childcare experience preferred (but not required).
• Must be able to meet Virginia childcare licensing requirements.

Nice to Haves

• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Early Childhood Education Credential or Certifications.
