About the role

Responsible for the research, development, design, and delivery of end-user training and job aid/guide materials for various enterprise technology solutions, including the rollout of Kronos Workforce Scheduler across the enterprise. This role reports directly to the Executive Nursing team and leverages internal subject matter experts, cross-functional teams, and technical/industry knowledge to build and deliver technical and skills-focused training.

Responsibilities

  • Training and Development Programs (45%)
    • Create comprehensive training programs on the use and adoption of enterprise technologies such as Kronos Workforce Scheduler and skill-focused training functions across the enterprise.
    • Plan, research, and design audience-specific instructional curricula and educational materials (e.g., user guides, quick reference guides, FAQs, tips and tricks, e-learning).
    • Independently deliver entry and advanced-level training for internal audiences.
    • Interpret and use training evaluation data to recommend revisions or modifications to training curricula and materials.
    • Assist with identifying team training needs and develop/deliver training in appropriate formats (instructor-led, documentation, quick reference cards, videos, etc.).
    • Focus on programs for (1) increased productivity/effectiveness, (2) new hires, and (3) re-training.
  • Technical Competencies (25%)
    • Work with stakeholders to understand technical and communication skills required in a healthcare setting.
    • Become a subject matter expert on tools and systems associated with enterprise technology rollouts.
    • Apply change management methodologies to develop sustainable strategies that increase adoption rates for training programs.
    • Create multi-platform programs to synthesize learning opportunities with functional requirements and department expectations.
  • Process & Tools (25%)
    • Develop and conduct on-site and remote training sessions, either independently or with other subject matter experts.
    • Ensure identified audiences are properly trained and prepared.
    • Design assessments or success measures to identify learning gaps and create programs to address deficiencies.
    • Proofread and edit training deliverables to improve quality, readability, and effectiveness.
  • Other duties as assigned (5%)

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in clinical or related field, or relevant experience/education as determined by the company.
  • 1-3 years of experience creating and delivering meaningful, contextual program content.
  • 1-3 years of experience with Kronos Workforce Central (WFC) or other leading workforce management software.
  • 3-5 years of relevant clinical and/or training experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in instructional design, curriculum writing, teaching/training, and course development.

Preferred Qualifications

  • RN License, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
