About the Role

This is not a traditional training role. We're seeking a learning strategist, performance consultant, facilitator, and business partner who thrives at the intersection of talent development and business results. Responsibilities

  • Build influential partnerships across the organization, collaborating with leaders to understand business priorities, workforce challenges, and performance gaps. Through thoughtful consultation and needs assessment, transform business objectives into impactful talent and learning solutions.
  • Develop learning roadmaps that support organizational initiatives, including:
    • Digital transformation
    • Leadership development
    • Compliance and regulatory readiness
    • Member service excellence
    • Sales effectiveness
    • Employee engagement and retention
    • Change management initiatives
  • Apply performance consulting principles to look beyond training requests and identify root causes. By analyzing business metrics and performance data, recommend the right solutions, whether that's training, coaching, process improvements, job aids, or change management strategies.
  • Partner with our talented Learning & Development team to design and implement learning experiences through multiple modalities, including:
    • Instructor-led training
    • Virtual learning
    • E-learning
    • Blended learning programs
    • Microlearning
    • Videos and multimedia
    • Performance support tools
    • Infographics and job aids

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Training & Development, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • 3+ years of Learning & Development, Organizational Development, or Talent Development experience
  • Financial services, banking, or credit union experience strongly preferred
  • Experience serving as a business partner, consultant, relationship manager, or internal advisor

  • Adult learning theory and instructional design methodologies

  • Microsoft 365 applications
  • Learning analytics and performance measurement
  • Credit union or banking regulations and operational environments

Pay

The targeted hourly rate range is $32.00 per hour to $39.00 per hour. Final offer will be determined based on experience, education, training/certifications, and specialized skills.

Schedule

This position is currently hybrid-eligible, with the expectation of three days pre-assigned on-site attendance. This role requires California residency and living within a 50-mile commute of our headquarters in Santa Ana.
