This is a hands-on role focused on structured literacy, academic skills development, and learning remediation. You will work directly with students and families while contributing to program design and delivery within a virtual-first, multidisciplinary environment. You will collaborate closely with psychologists, speech-language pathologists, and the IEP and School Advocacy Lead to ensure that academic support plans are aligned with each child's learning profile, clinical assessment findings, and school-based needs. This role provides educational program delivery and learning support and does not include clinical or psychological assessment, diagnosis, or treatment. All clinical services are delivered by regulated healthcare professionals within the multidisciplinary team. What You Will Do Program Design & Delivery (70%) Design and deliver structured literacy interventions for children with dyslexia and persistent reading difficulties using evidence-informed approaches (e.g., Orton-Gillingham principles, phonological awareness, decoding, fluency, and reading comprehension).Facilitate homework support and academic skills programs, focusing on organization, task initiation, study skills, and academic independence in small virtual groups.Deliver learning and academic remediation programs for students with learning differences, developing practical strategies that transfer into the school environment.Translate psychoeducational assessment findings into structured academic support plans aligned with each child's learning profile.Provide parent coaching to support implementation of learning strategies at home in a clear, practical manner.Supervise and guide CDA delivery staff during structured sessions, ensuring consistency and quality across programs.Collaborate with psychologists, SLPs, and the IEP and School Advocacy Lead to ensure coordinated and aligned care for shared families. Family & Team Collaboration (30%) Communicate program progress, recommendations, and learning strategies to families in clear, accessible language.Maintain accurate program notes and documentation in accordance with Toriven™ standards.Participate in multidisciplinary case consultation, contributing the academic and learning perspective to complex cases. What You Bring Strong experience supporting children with learning differences, including dyslexia, ADHD, and learning disabilities.Ability to translate complex learning and educational concepts into clear, actionable guidance for families.Demonstrated experience in program design, curriculum development, or structured intervention delivery.Strong communication skills and confidence working with families in a virtual setting.Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary, team-based care model. Qualifications Ontario Certificate of Qualification (OCT), current and in good standing.Master's degree in education or equivalent graduate-level training in learning, curriculum, special education, or child development.Structured literacy training (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, Barton, or equivalent); willingness to complete certification within the first 6 months if not already completed.Demonstrated experience supporting children with dyslexia, ADHD, or learning disabilities.Clean Vulnerable Sector Screening (Ontario — mandatory).Authorized to work and reside in Ontario.
