Learn to Skate Instructor

About the role
Responsible for operation of learn-to-skate program, including program growth, registration, staffing, and teaching. Instructs skating to students and classes. Works on straightforward tasks using established procedures.
Responsibilities
- Creates new business including figure skating club, holiday shows, camps, clinics, and competitions.
- Teaches the U.S. Figure Skating curriculum to students and assigned classes in a fun and friendly manner.
- Provides great customer service and maximizes the experience for the students.
- Manages part-time staff, ensuring that facility's policies and procedures are being met.
- Works closely with ice rink manager developing operating budgets and goals.
- Promotes and represents facility in a positive manner at all times.
- Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s), and overtime as necessary.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 0-2 years of relevant work experience.
- Understanding of Comcast Spectacor’s Operating Principles; ability to apply them as guidelines for how you do your job.

Pay
New Jersey Pay Range: $0.01 - $80,000.00. Base pay is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
