About the role

McCannics is looking for experienced builders, carpenters, and hammerhands to join our hardworking construction team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of commercial construction and building projects across the region.

Requirements

• Proven experience in building or commercial construction
• Sound knowledge of the New Zealand Building Code and health & safety regulations
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and technical drawings
• Competence in concrete work, framing, steel, partitioning, and finishing
• Reliable, punctual, and team-focused work ethic
• SiteSafe certification and relevant trade qualifications (or currently working toward them)
• Good communication skills and fluency in English
• Current driver’s licence is a bonus
