HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors in Morris, IL, is seeking a safety-conscious Specialty Mechanical Service Technician with expertise in one or more of the following areas: Leak Repair, Field Machining, Line Isolation, NDT Hydrotesting, Hot Tapping & Line Stopping.

Responsibilities
- Ensure a safe and secure working environment by complying with company and customer safety standards and legal regulations; promptly address any safety concerns.
- Adhere to all company policies and demonstrate commitment to core values.
- Diagnose issues with leaking components and report findings to supervisory staff and engineering teams.
- Conduct leak mitigation tasks, which may include:
- Identify situations requiring the use of safety equipment.
- Complete necessary documentation and administrative tasks.
- Work collaboratively with field teams, client representatives, and management.
- Stay informed about the company’s products and services to better assist customers.
Work Environment
- Based at a branch or on-site location; involves both indoor and outdoor work in industrial settings.
- Interaction with team members, supervisors, and clients.
- Working near production machinery with high noise levels; required to use personal protective equipment.
- Ability to adapt to different job sites and weather conditions.
- Travel to various sites may be required.
Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Physically able to walk, climb, and perform field duties.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good observational skills and manual dexterity for routine office and field tasks.
- Able to travel to off-site locations when necessary.
- Skilled in multitasking and maintaining focus in a dynamic environment.
- TWIC card required or must be able to obtain.
- Valid driver’s license able to meet company driver’s standards.
Pay
Competitive wages ranging from $18.00 to $45.00 per hour.
