About the Role
Delaware North Gaming is seeking part-time Greyhound Racing Leadouts to join our team at Mardi Gras Casino in Cross Lanes, West Virginia. Racing Leadouts handle and care for greyhounds in the paddock and while en route to the starting box, providing fast-paced work in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead dogs to the starting box
- Put dogs in the starting box
- Ensure that when a dog falls or is injured, it is safely removed from the track or directed correctly
- Perform weigh-ins
- Lead dogs back to the lockout kennel and into the correct crates
Requirements
- Lift and transport greyhounds daily in excess of 70 lbs., for up to 100 yards
- Able to run or jog up to 100 yards 7 to 10 times per night
- Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Pay
$14.25 per hour
