About the role
Responsible for supervising electricians in the installation and maintenance of electrical systems. Oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with safety standards and codes.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and train electricians in safe work practices and industry standards.
- Plan and coordinate projects, including budgeting and scheduling tasks.
- Inspect electrical installations to ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.
- Resolve complex electrical issues and provide technical guidance to team members.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical construction or maintenance.
- Valid journeyman electrician license.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications
- Proficient in using electrical testing equipment.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory and wiring methods.
- Experience with various types of electrical systems and components.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
